Melanie Hess is an accomplished master colorist and hairdresser with more than 20 years of experience. She is a sought after stylist for celebrity ad campaigns, an educator for Pureology, a former member of the elite Ted Gibson artistic team, and former L’Oreal Professionnel educator. Whether she is styling models backstage at New York fashion week, on set for editorial shoots, or educating as a platform artist countrywide, she is focused on the cutting edge of beauty trends. Her passion for education has taken her around the world, including studying editorial styling in Paris and honing her precision cutting skills with Vidal Sassoon in Toronto, Canada. Melanie is currently located in Dana Point California and is an expert in creating effortless lived in SoCal beachy color and seamless layers that give her cuts an airy feel.Business Hours

Cancellation Policy
A credit card with a 50% non refundable deposit is required to book and secure an appointment.
Cancellation fee:
There will be a 50% cancellation fee for any no shows or cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment.
No shows:
No shows will be charged 100% of the service booked.
No shows will not be rebooked.
Late arrivals:
I will do my best to accommodate any guest who arrives late to their appointment, however, if you arrive later than 15 minutes to your appointment the same cancellation fee will be applied (50% of booked services)
If you arrive late and we do not have time to complete the full service booked, you will still be charge for the original service booked.
In addition, if you arrive and change your mind and want a service of lesser value or time, you will still be charged for the original service booked.
Repeated late arrivals, cancellations, reschedules and no shows:
Melanie Hess hair reserves the right to turn away guests with repeated late arrivals and rescheduled appointments.
